Programme: 26 Weeks

The major refurbishment of Lewes District Council’s three storey offices in the centre of Lewes to provide state of the art office accommodation.  The project involved the demolition of many internal partitions providing larger open spaces of various sizes and configurations to provide a new reception, open plan office accommodation, meeting rooms and breakout areas. New staff facilities such as toilets, kitchens and staff rooms were also provided. New mechanical, electrical and IT installations were provided throughout the building which was fitted out with bespoke modern furniture, fixtures and fittings.

The works were undertaken with the client in occupation throughout the entire project. This required close coordination and planning with the client to ensure a programme of work which allowed the minimum project duration without compromising the clients’ operations.
