Lancing College

The works comprised of a two storey extension to the existing Hanford House dormitory block to pro-vide 22 additional bedrooms together with a com-mon room and a two bed staff flat.

Together with reconfiguration of part of the existing building to provide a new three bedroom flat. The works also included replacement boilers, extending services into the extension, air source heat pumps, and exter-nal works to the drainage.

The works where carried out whilst the school was in occupation, liaison with the Estates Manager was required on a regular basis, and all sub-contractors where required to be DBS checked.

The project was finalist for two LABC awards, Best Educational Building and Site Agent of the Year.
