The replacement of roofs, windows, specialist cleaning and lime repointing, repairs to flint walls and stonework were carried out, all to secure the fabric of the structure. Internally, the restoration included new specialist plastering and moulded ceilings and elaborate joinery work, all of which required the Conservation Officer’s approval.

A dual oil and wood-chip biomass boiler system was installed within it’s own new steel framed building. The latest in hi-tech services provided voice, data, power and telephone communication as well as an efficient heating system offering the convenience of modern living within the original beauty of the past.

As well as the formal living, dining and working areas, the works included for the extension of the Manor House to create a large luxurious open plan kitchen breakfast room and a separate granny annex.
