Care for Veterans (formerly the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home) was established in 1919 to care for those soldiers with life-changing disabilities. The works comprised the demolition of the existing small single-storey building to create a larger single-storey building to create four en-suite bedrooms.

The building is traditional brick and block with stone panels, mechanical and electrical installa-tions; drainage alterations and external works. We managed to re-use some of the roof tiles from the demolished extension.
