A new fifteen bedroom, all with ensuite facilities, extension constructed over two storeys linking to the existing Grade Two listed building. Works included installing an extension to this existing nursing home linking different areas of the property to provide fifteen secure bedrooms, and ancillary areas, for the elderly mentally infirm. The new work required some deep excavations directly adjacent to existing buildings and incorporated an existing listed boundary wall within the structure of the new build.

The project included the installation of a new lift, new boilers to serve the requirements of the whole property and integrated M & E installations, inclusive of a Jupiter underfloor heating system.

The roof was covered in a zinc roofing system, the new modern structures complimenting the listed buildings. The very restricted nature of site created access issues which were overcome by negotiating the use of a neighbouring garden for site storage and access to the works.

New lift, complete new M & E installation including Jupiter underfloor heating system, zinc roof coverings, roof terrace. The works had to be very carefully planned due to the restricted nature of the access to the site and limited space for storage of plant and materials.
